BFW Solution won the bidding of 10G EPON gateway product procurement project of China Telecom Shanghai Branch

Recently, the result of "2017 China Telecom Shanghai Branch 10G EPON Gateway Bidding And Procurement Project" was announced, and the 10G EPON product developed by BFW Solutions won the bid successfully.  The purchase scale of 10G EPON (supporting SDN function) gateway products is large, and its purchase quantity is among the top in the world. Our company's products won 50% of the bidding share, with a total amount of over 100 million yuan.  

2017 is the peak year of broadband speed increasing and China Telecom ‘s 10G EPON bidding scale significantly improved compared to year of 2016. Comparing with the previous generation ,the speed of current 10G EPON and 10G XGPON is greatly improved, up to 10 gigabit downlink, so it can effectively boost broadband speed, improve the investment income of operators.  

The 10G EPON product (supporting SDN function) developed by our company has the characteristics of flexible deployment and smooth evolution. It not only promotes the evolution of optical access technology, but also saves TCO (total cost of ownership, including the cost of product procurement to later use and maintenance) for operators.  In the future, BFW Solutions will continue to focus on the research and development and innovation of 10G XPON and SDN and other related leading technologies, helping global operators to speed up fixed network broadband and network upgrade.
